Four questions to ask when you feel far from God

what should i do when I feel far from God
It's hard to lead your family toward Jesus when you personally feel far from Him. In this episode, Jerrad shares very honestly about what to do when you are in seasons of life that are "spiritually dry" and four helpful questions any dad can ask themself.
1. IS THERE UNCONFESSED SIN IN YOUR LIFE?
James 3 says that if we confess sin to each other, we will be healed. Some of you have been forgiven, but you aren’t healed. Healing may be closer than you think. Confess your sin to a trusted brother and watch your relationship with Jesus begin to grow.
2. AM I BEING BLINDED BY CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES?
Remember, whatever you’re going through isn’t going to last forever. Sometimes we convince ourselves that life will always be the way it is. Don’t make long-term conclusions in the middle of a short-term season.
3. ARE YOU STEPPING OUTSIDE OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE OR TAKING RISKS THAT REQUIRE GREAT FAITH?
Maybe it’s not that God is far, as much as it is you’re just bored. Remember, God has called you to more. There is a reason God constantly says fear not in the Bible; because He is always calling His people towards scary things. Begin to pray and ask God what He would want you to step into that would require great faith. Read over Mark 12v29-30.
4. AM I IN A HEALTHY ROUTINE?
Don’t forget that we were created body, mind, and soul, not just soul. You feeling far from God could simply be a result of not sleeping enough, not eating well, and not moving. It’s hard to feel alive in Christ when you running on 4 hours of sleep. Worship God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Take care of yourself.
