Part of my goal with this site is to offer very practical advice for dudes. I love thinking big picture stuff, but sometimes we just need to be told exactly what to say or do. Unless it’s from our wife… that’s annoying
The majority of people in our society love to travel. I have only met a handful of people in my lifetime who have told me they aren’t really into it. I wish I could tell you their names, but I immediately denounced them as friends for being weird. We all love to travel, but none of us love to pay thousands of dollars to do it, and unless you have the rare luxury of getting paid to travel the world, you likely have to save up for months, if not years, to reach your dream destination. I have a secret hobby of traveling to as many places as I can, for the least amount of money as possible. Earlier this year I took Leila on an overnight date down to San Diego and ended up paying under $80 bucks for everything (you can read how I did that HERE). If you’re brand new to the award-points-travel-game, it can definitely be overwhelming. There are literally thousands of ways you can travel the world for extremely discounted rates. I started a blog for my friends awhile back to try and give the very basics of how it works. Instead of re-hashing the whole thing, I’ll just send you THERE. The bottom line is this, if you’ve been wanting to take your wife on a vacation, or even get away for an overnight date, there are lots of ways to do it. I take Leila on an overnight getaway each year for our anniversary (we're headed to Hawaii in a couple weeks and won't pay anything to do it!) Here are some links to get you started. (As a side note, these are NOT affiliate links, I do NOT get paid a dime for you to read these, I just genuinely like to hook a brotha’ up) How Leila gets to travel with me for free on every Southwest flight. How I book one or two free nights for our anniversary every year. Where I’ve learned everything I know about free travel. If you’ve got some good tips on free travel, comment below, I want to hear them! Also feel free to ask any questions you might have. |
