WHAT
The Dad Tired Retreat is an immersive weekend with like-minded men focused on becoming more like Jesus. During the weekend, you’ll explore acres of natural forest with hiking trails, dive into explorations of everything from faith to fatherhood, and connect with yourself and your community.
WHERE
Our retreat is at Carolina Pointe, a stunning resort-like retreat center located at the border of North and South Carolina.

Jerrad Lopes
JERRAD LOPES is a Christian author, speaker, and the founder of Dad Tired. As a father of four, he knows first-hand that living as a leader in your home is a weighty calling. He is passionate about equipping men and fostering community where together men can live out the gospel.
Jackson Michelson
JACKSON MICHELSON is a successful singer-song writer from Bend, Oregon. Michelson has toured with artists like Lee Brice, Blake Shelton, and Frankie Ballard and released his full-length album "Three" in April of 2022. As a husband, father, and worship pastor, Jackson has a true gift for leading men well in worship.
Kaleb Allen
KALEB ALLEN, a dedicated husband and father of seven, is a passionate pastor focused on glorifying Jesus Christ. Committed to authentic scriptural teaching, he humbly leads his congregation, emphasizing the integration of unwavering faith and daily life. Kaleb and his team strive to unite scriptural authority with the Holy Spirit's presence in the church. His impactful preaching inspires a life of prayer and steadfast devotion to God.
Chris Hilken
CHRIS HILKEN, senior pastor at College Ave Church in San Diego and a theology professor at Summit Bible College, is also a co-leader of the Dad Tired movement. With a decade of experience as a teaching pastor and young adult ministry leader at North Coast Church, he joined College Ave in 2023. After overcoming the heart-breaking loss of his first wife, Paige, Chris has returned to ministry with a renewed passion for the gospel. He is now remarried to Carolyn, and together they live in San Diego with their five children.
