Jerrad is the founder of Dad Tired, a global community helping men follow Jesus, find healing, and lead their families well. Alongside his wife, Leila, and their four kids, Elijah, Eden, Ella, and Emilia, Jerrad is passionate about creating experiences that shape families spiritually; not just through words, but through lived faith.

The Lopes family believes some of the most powerful moments of discipleship happen outside of comfort zones. They’re honored to invite a small group of Dad Tired families to join them in Guatemala for a shared experience of serving, growing, and watching God move together.

    There is no minimum age requirement, but parents should prayerfully consider whether their child is ready for international travel and serving in a new environment.

    • Supporting children’s ministry and outreach

    You won’t be alone or figuring things out on your own. Everything will be organized and led alongside experienced ministry partners.

    Adventures in Missions has decades of experience leading mission trips around the world and has trusted, established partnerships in Guatemala.

    They handle logistics, housing, transportation, and local coordination.

    While international travel always requires flexibility, this trip is designed with family safety and support as a top priority.

  • Families will stay in safe, gated, comfortable lodging arranged by Adventures in Missions.

    Accommodations are designed specifically for mission teams and families. Each family will have their own private room with it’s own bathroom including shower and toilet.

    Full details will be shared with selected families during the preparation process.

  • The cost is $745 per person, with discounts provided for children. Adventures in Missions provides clear, all-inclusive pricing that covers:

    • Lodging
    • Meals
    • Transportation in Guatemala

    • In-country support

    Flights to and from Guatemala are separate.
